Safety and Health Fundamentals Certificate Fee - General Industry

If you have completed the required training for the Safety and Health Fundamentals Certificate Program in General Industry, please add the Section ID below to your http://myextension.ucsd.edu account. This will allow for the applicant to pay the non-refundable $95 fee for processing.
The certificate program in Safety and Health Fundamentals supports OSHA’s mission by training employees in occupational safety and health to reduce incident rates for workers in state and local governments and private industry. Participants have the opportunity to earn certificates for Construction, General Industry and Maritime training.
Participants can choose from a variety of topics such as occupational safety and health standards for the construction, general industry and maritime, safety and health management, accident investigation, fall hazard awareness, and recordkeeping. Courses are available at OSHA Training Institute (OTI) Education Centers nationwide.
It is the responsibility of the applicant to ensure all required and elective courses have been completed prior to submitting this application. An application processing fee of $95 is due at the time of the application. Please submit copies of the completed and signed Application for Certificate Program and all necessary documentation that verifies successful completion for each course to the UC San Diego OTI Education Center at oshatraining@ucsd.edu.
