Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit Voucher (SJDBV)

UC San Diego Division of Extended Studies accepts use of the Supplemental Job Displacement Benefit Voucher (SJDBV) to pay for coursework.

If you are planning to use your voucher to take courses at our institution, please do not enroll in classes until you have completed the intake process with us.

How do I get started?

Please reach out to unex-workerscomp@ucsd.edu and provide us with a signed copy of page 2 of your voucher. Please do not fill in the section titled “Training Provider or School Details."

We will provide further instructions and independently verify the available funds with your insurance company, so we can request an invoice to place the funds in your student account.

Who do I contact?
