Why Concurrent Enrollment?
Concurrent Enrollment allows members of the public to access and enroll in UC San Diego’s undergraduate and graduate courses without being formally admitted to the university. Most classes are held in person at UC San Diego, which gives Concurrent Enrollment students the opportunity to learn alongside matriculated UC San Diego students.

Concurrent Enrollment Application

Our streamlined process makes it easy to apply for undergraduate and graduate classes that fit your schedule. Enrollment is based on space availability and requires approval from the instructor and department, so early planning is encouraged.

Are You A High School Student?
The Discover program lets high school students jumpstart college by earning UC San Diego credits online. Through Open Enrollment, students take real lower-division university courses—100% online and fully transferable to UC, CSU, and community colleges.

Are You an International Student?
UC San Diego Extended Studies International Programs offers English language, university credit, professional certificate, and customized programs for personal, academic and professional development.
