What is Osher all About?
The Osher Lifelong Learning Institute at UC San Diego is a membership program for adults aged 50 and older who seek to engage in intellectually stimulating learning and connect with a vibrant community of peers. Offering year-round lectures and seminars by distinguished UC San Diego faculty, researchers, and local experts, Osher covers diverse topics such as medicine, science, law, history, art, international relations, literature, politics, social sciences and more. Members enjoy live and virtual classes with Q&A sessions, member-led current events discussions, literary seminars, live drama, music, and enriching activities like field trips and social gatherings. With options for Quarterly, Annual, or Online Affiliate Memberships, Osher provides access to live programs and an extensive video library, fostering lifelong learning and connection in a welcoming environment.
