Rigorous, Med‑Focused Curriculum

Students complete ~48 units of upper‑division biological sciences across four quarters, including physiology, biochemistry, neurology, molecular medicine, and cohort‑based foundational courses. MCAT prep is integrated throughout the program.

One‑on‑One Mentorship & Peer Community

Each student receives dedicated advising from UC San Diego School of Medicine faculty, tutoring when needed, office hours, and a close‑knit peer cohort that reinforces learning and professional development.

The program builds med‑school readiness with workshops on personal statements, mock interviews, application strategy, and both in‑person and online MCAT prep sessions. Graduates apply to medical school when their portfolios are strongest.

Academic Calendar & Structure

Follows the UC quarter system — orientation in late June, Summer, Fall, Winter, and Spring quarters, concluding mid‑June. Advising, tutoring, coursework, and workshops run throughout the year.
