OSHA's San Fancisco Region
As of September 1, 2024, OSHA’s Region 9 and 10 formally merged and were renamed as OSHA's San Francisco Region. The UC San Diego OTI Education Center (previously Region 9) will expand its ability to serve states on the West Coast. The intention of the new geographic regions is to improve and reduce operating costs. The San Francisco Region includes the following areas: Alaska*, Arizona, American Samoa, California, Commonwealth of the Mariana Islands, Guam, Hawaii, Idaho*, Nevada, Oregon* and Washington*. Prospective students in these new states are now allowed to attend VILT (live online) classes at UC San Diego.
