Apply all the skills you have learned through the Professional Certificate in Human Resources Management. Work independently with an advisor who will coach you through a hands-on research or experiential learning project. This resume-enhancing project will result in a completed white paper and a final project presentation to a small audience of your choosing. This course is highly recommended to students with a strong interest in developing their skills in research, writing and public presentations. This is an opportunity to work on a project that is relevant for your work life (for example, a new onboarding program, revised compensation structure, improved talent selection process).

Learning Outcomes
By the end of the course, students will:

• Understand the practical applications in human resource management, including identifying organizational needs, suggesting human resource-based solutions and creating a plan for implementation.
• Complete a project that involves assessing client needs, developing solutions through a professional human resource initiative, presenting to the client and evaluating the impact of the recommendations.

Class meetings (either over Zoom or in person) are arranged by the instructor and each student separately as needed.
