Master Biotech Project Management by Creating a Complete Project Plan from Concept to Execution

The final course in the program is offered by the University of Washington, this Capstone course gives students the opportunity to apply their learning by creating a comprehensive Project Management Plan for a biotech product. This ~100-page plan includes essential project documents such as a Project Charter, Work Breakdown Structure, Risk, Change, Quality, and Communication Plans. Working in teams, students develop, present, and refine their plan while honing key skills in project leadership, communication, and scope management for real-world biotech projects

Prior to enrolling in this course, you should have completed Project Management Standards & Processes, Project Management Within a Scientific/Research Environment, and Applying Project Management Principles to Biomedical and Pharmaceutical Product Development.


Once you complete all four courses successfully, you will receive a University of Washington Professional & Continuing Education and UC San Diego Extended Studies joint certificate.
