Measure for Measure by William Shakespeare

Speaker Kim Keeline, PhD
Coordinator Steve Clarey
This lecture is a preview of the performance of Measure for Measure at the Old Globe Theater. What makes a play a comedy? For Shakespeare it is not about being funny.  A dark play about punishment, Measure for Measure is about a woman asked to prostitute herself to save her brother’s life. It’s ending will have you questioning everything. It’s dark and not a laugh a minute but intriguing.
