Microwave Transmission Engineering

EE-40153

This course offers a very comprehensive and highly technical overview of Transmissions Network Design, Planning, and Implementation. This course will be useful to engineers, project managers, and other personnel involved in planning and/or making decision about microwave network design and deployment, as well as anyone else involved in real-life microwave network build-out.

Comparison of North American and ITU microwave design models and methods as well as project management and logistics issues, deployments in different countries, regulatory and ethical issues will be discussed. This course seeks to illustrate how transmissions challenges encountered in telecommunication network can be resolved in a cost-effective manner, using microwave radio systems, without compromising the network availability and performance standards.
