Induction Year 1 Reflection

Induction Year 1 Reflection provides Candidates with manifold opportunities to work collaboratively with assigned Mentors and instructors in the ongoing development, delivery and assessment of objectives embedded within the Candidate’s Individualized Learning Plan (ILP). Candidates will focus on the ILP goals aligned to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs) to support outcomes to practice and refine teaching practices. Candidates will reflect on their Induction Year 1 goals and progress. Candidates will initially review and plan for Induction Year 2 goals and ILP adjustments.

Induction Candidate Enrollment Info

Induction Candidates must formalize their admission to the Induction program before enrolling. This is the third required course for all Induction Candidates and a prerequisite for further Candidate courses in the Induction program. This is the final Induction course for Early Completion Option Candidates. 

Candidates enroll into the Candidate course section with the same instructor and start and end dates as their Site-based Mentor’s course. The corresponding Induction Mentor course is EDUC-31710 Induction Mentor Year 1 Reflection. Please review the Induction Candidate and Mentor Course Alignment for the full outline of courses.
