Induction Inquiry III

EDUC-31706

Induction Inquiry III provides Candidates with manifold opportunities to work collaboratively with approved Mentors and instructors in the ongoing development, delivery and assessment of objectives embedded within the Candidate’s Individualized Learning Plan (ILP). Candidates will focus on the ILP goals aligned to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs) to support outcomes to practice and refine teaching practices. 

Induction Candidate Enrollment Info

Induction Candidates must formalize their admission to the Induction program before enrolling. This is the fifth required course for Induction Candidates and a prerequisite for further Candidate courses in the Induction program.

Candidates enroll into the Candidate course section with the same instructor and start and end dates as their Site-based Mentor’s course. The corresponding Induction Mentor course is EDUC-31712 Mentor Induction Inquiry III. Please review the Induction Candidate and Mentor Course Alignment for the full outline of courses.

Recently served as a Program Director for UCLA Extension and was responsible for developing their special education curriculum.

Kate M Edwards, Ph.D., recently served as a Program Director for UCLA Extension and was responsible for developing their
special education curriculum. Her research focuses on culturally inclusive positive behavior support in the classroom. She has served a variety of roles in non-public schools, residential treatment centers and foster care facilities throughout Southern California.
