Legal professionals are required to know and follow the ethical standards and rules of professional conduct in order to stay current with their profession. You will learn day-to-day application of these important standards and rules.

Course Format

This is an entirely online asynchronous web-based course that is to be completed between the published course start and end dates. Although there are no required course meetings to attend, this course does have specific assignment due dates and deadlines.
UCSD Extended Studies operates in Pacific Standard Time and therefore all course deadlines are held to Pacific Standard Time (PST).

Executive Director, Dysimmune Neuromuscular Diseases Foundation

Kate Wilkins, CLAS, has over 40 years experience as a traditional paralegal and 20 years as a paralegal educator. She is currently the Executive Director of the Dysimmune Neuromuscular Diseases Foundation. She also has Legal Connection, and is a past director of the National Association of Legal Assistants and the Hawaii Association of Legal Assistants.
