These classes are open to anyone interested in experiencing improvisation. No experience in any performing art is necessary. Participants will learn the basics of the form and will be introduced to the various short- and long-form games played during improv shows
Speaker Bio
Instructor: Courtney Flanagan has taken classes in improv from National Comedy Theatre, Finest
City Improv, Second City (Chicago) and Loose Moose (Calgary, Alberta). She taught improv at
The Bishop’s School for 34 years as part of her theater program and has been teaching at Osher since 2020.
