This workshop is open to any Osher member who would like to learn more about the fundamental skills and strategies actors employ to make their on-stage behavior effective. Participants can expect to get up on their feet to try out some fun, and perhaps enlightening, acting exercises.
Speaker Bio
Instructor: Before retiring, Deborah Harris was a professor of theatre who taught, directed
plays, and eventually served as chair of the arts and letters division at North Central College in Naperville, Illinois. A Jacob K. Javits Fellow, she earned her MA and PhD in theatre from the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign
