Integrating Technology in Education K-12, Level 1

This course will explore the use of technology in education as a tool to enhance teaching and learning. Participants will learn and demonstrate the effective use of computer hardware and software and fundamental hardware care operations to ensure safety. Topics in this course will include legal aspects of technology in education, electronic communication tools, printed media, classroom and record management, introduction to technology uses across the curriculum and classroom, evaluation of electronic research tools and the maintenance of effective learning environments using technology in education.
