Fundamentals of Networking
CSE-41395
Fundamentals of Networking provides a broad sampling of network technologies, skills, and methods critical to establishing and maintaining connectivity in the real world.
In this course, you will apply common network security concepts such as implementing network load balancing techniques, installing wireless access points, and establishing event logging for Security Information and Event Management (SIEM) systems. You will use the OSI Reference Model to troubleshoot network connectivity. You will plan and Implement a Basic Small Office/Home Office (SOHO), construct basic high availability network designs, and a basic Virtual Local Area Network (VLAN).
Fundamentals of Networking is the starting point for technical career opportunities with position titles such as Network Field Technician, Network Analyst, Network Administrator, Field Service Technician, Wireless Communications Specialist, and more.
