The Essentials of Leadership and Management (ELM) program  is taught by a variety of faculty and subject matter experts and is designed to help develop exceptional leadership, communication, teamwork, and project management skills. This 14-week program provides an instructional approach that emphasizes team interaction, problem solving, personal reflection and peer coaching. Topics within the program are designed to provide attendees with immediate tools and skills that they can apply in their workplaces. The course relies heavily on case studies and business simulations to offer timely, relevant and specific application to the modern company. Attendees are expected to share their experiences and challenges to further exhance the learning environment.

ELM participants will be prepared for greater responsibility within their company. Sponsoring companies will see immediate improvement in managerial performance as a result of the concepts that are taught and the knowledge that is gained in the ELM program.

Upon program completion, attendees will receive a certificate of completion.
