This comprehensive course is designed to prepare candidates for the Aviation Selection Test Battery (ASTB-E), a critical assessment tool used by the U.S. Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard for selecting aviation officers. The course covers all seven subtests of the ASTB-E, including the Officer Aptitude Rating (OAR) components and aviation-specific assessments. Through targeted instruction and practice, students will develop the cognitive, psychomotor, and knowledge-based skills necessary to excel in the ASTB-E and pursue a career in military aviation.

What you'll learn
Upon successful completion of this course, students will be able to:

Demonstrate proficiency in mathematical concepts relevant to the Math Skills Test (MST), including algebra, geometry, and arithmetic operations.

Apply critical reading strategies to analyze and comprehend complex texts, as required in the Reading Comprehension Test (RCT).

Understand and solve problems related to mechanical principles, preparing for the Mechanical Comprehension Test (MCT).

Acquire foundational knowledge of aviation and nautical terminology, aircraft components, and basic aerodynamic principles for the Aviation and Nautical Information Test (ANIT).

Develop spatial orientation skills pertinent to the Spatial Apperception Test (SAT).

Enhance psychomotor abilities, including eye-hand coordination and multitasking, for the Performance-Based Measures Battery (PBM).
