Street Photography Workshop
1 week | $200 | In-Class
Learn the basics of street and candid photography in this hands-on workshop. Students will attend two field trips to capture chance encounters and random incidents within public places. Students will explore or hone their use of manual shutter controls including shutter speed, aperture, and ISO, as well as automatic modes such as shutter and aperture priority. After the field trips conclude, students will upload their photos for group evaluation/critique.
What You Will Learn:
- To quickly capture photographic opportunities in public spaces.
- To set manual controls based on lighting and environmental conditions.

Prerequisite: none
Materials: Students should have a DSLR camera and a fast lens, such as a 50mm f/1.8, or equivalent equipment.
Note: Elective course for Photography: Images and Techniques professional certificate.
