Conditions for Admission

At a minimum, a bachelor degree in a scientific or technology field (e.g., BS, BEng) with significant exposure to and familiarity with healthcare and/or frontier technologies is needed to meaningfully engage with this program.

Intended for those with a background or interest in healthcare transformation, data science, eHealth, IT administration, engineering and regulatory affairs.

Next Steps Experience

The optional Capstone project is offered to accelerate the commercial viability of a Digital Health solution or project. The Capstone is ideal for those students with a desire to connect to local San Diego technology business incubators and resourses. San Diego is the home to one of the nation’s leading biotech, medical device, and genomics industrial clusters, has four large health systems, and is recognized nationally for technology innovation in the life sciences and healthcare. The program will offer a unique opportunity to engage in Digital Health education, design, and development to solve complex healthcare challenges.
