This course covers the fundamentals of typography, including basic vocabulary of type and the anatomy of letters. The history of typographic forms, principles of composition, and the expressive potential of type with be explored. This course delves into the relationship between word and image, and the origins of symbology as a basis for developing logo designs, both of which are essential to creating great design.
