CAITLIN ROTHERMEL

Caitlin Rothermel is a medical and health economics writer with 25 years of experience developing a range of medical publications and communications tools.

As the Principal of MedLitera, a small medical communications company, Caitlin works with clients to write documents that incorporate current clinical, economic, and societal evidence, and that address the complex interplay between these topics — presented using clear value messaging that targets client priorities.

Caitlin specializes in health economics and outcomes research (HEOR) writing in addition to clinical medical writing. Her HEOR work includes manuscripts such as cost-effectiveness and budget impact analyses, retrospective database and registry analyses, health-related quality of life studies, and patient-reported outcomes. Caitlin and MedLitera also develop Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP) dossiers.

Caitlin has an MPH from the University of Washington and an MA in Literature and Writing from New York University.
