April 11: The Harmony Road Quartet
Singer-songwriter Herb Hein, who has been
performing in Theater World musicals, is thrilled to
bring the Harmony Road quartet to Osher. Enjoy
folk-rock favorites from the 60’s and 70’s and
original songs in captivating three-part harmony.
Herb has been writing songs and performing with
guitar-player Jeff Proctor for two decades in the
tight-harmony duo, Jeff and Herb. As Harmony
Road, they are thrilled to be joined by vocalist Mary
Bunker and drummer Dave Bunker, performers for
over 20 years in the Classic Rock dance band
Cover 2 Cover.
May 16: Pinball Lizards
Osher’s popular geology lecturers Professors Phil
Stoffer and Keith Meldahl met while teaching
oceanography at Mesa College. In addition to similar
academic interests, they discovered they both love
playing music. With Keith on guitar and vocals and
Phil on keyboards, they have performed over 200
gigs as the Pinball Lizards (yep—a story there) and
both perform with other bands. Their music is mostly
classic rock, blues, folk and instrumental songs of
their own creation.
