Colon Cancer: Understanding Epidemiology, Diagnosis and Emerging Therapies

Speaker Professor Mazer Ally
Coordinator Jeff Sakihara
Colon or colorectal cancer ranks as one of the most
common cancers in the U.S. It continues to be a
leading cause of cancer-related deaths despite
significant advances in medical science. This
lecture will provide an in-depth exploration of the
epidemiological factors influencing its incidence
and the key risk factors that contribute to its
development. We will also explore current screening
methods and treatment strategies and investigate
promising innovations that could improve early
detection and patient outcomes.
