Standards Based Grading: Prioritized Standards & Proficiency Scales

During this micro-credential participants will be introduced to and have the opportunity to refine their practice with prioritized standards & proficiency scales. Participants will research the why behind Standards Based Grading and the importance of starting with prioritized standards and proficiency scales. Then, participants will dive into SDUSD’s critical concepts, applying a proficiency scale to student work, and determining next instructional steps based on collected student evidence.
