Portuguese for Communication IV

Covering chapters 9, 10 and 11 of Ponto de Encontro Portuguese as a World Language textbook, second edition (online edition), Portuguese IV is an intermediate level course where students will continue to develop their fluency in the Portuguese language through the use of the four skills: speaking, listening, writing, and reading. The emphasis will be on Brazilian Portuguese communication. Some of the topics in level IV include talking about the work place and professions, discussing food, shopping and planning menus, giving informal orders and instructions, describing the body, health, and medical treatments, expressing emotions, opinions, and attitudes.
 

Note: recommended prerequisite: "Portuguese for Communication III," or the equivalent.

She has an M.A. in Education with Specialization in TESOL from the University of San Diego and a B.A. in language and literature (Portuguese/English). She is a native of Brazil with over ten years of experience teaching Portuguese.
