Learning Design and Technologies
Prerequisite: IID or TLO | 10 Weeks 

This course focuses on the convergence of design principles and emerging learning technologies to provide the optimal learning experience. You will focus on multimedia integration, interactivity, and the use of learning management systems (LMS).

Through carefully curated readings and videos from industry leaders and thought leaders, you will better understand which online learning development tools are best suited to meet learning objectives and organizational goals. Insights will be offered for creating multimedia content, including video lectures, interactive quizzes and discussion forums. Immersive learning experiences will be presented using interactive technologies, simulations, and gamification techniques. Modules appropriate for corporate training needs, such as employee onboarding, training, and professional development within organizations, will be introduced.

You will explore tools from the instructional designer's perspective and other key project stakeholders, including the organizational leadership, technology support teams, and the end-user (the student).
