The primary goal of this course is to expand on what you have learned in the “survival” stage of the previous courses; to be able to proactively communicate with Japanese people to build relationships. Additionally, you will learn to recognize some basic Kanji characters. This course includes the following topics:making and responding to an invitation, talking about weekend plans, giving impressions, asking permission, expressing preferences and giving/receiving gifts
Note: recommended prerequisite: "Japanese for Communication II", or the equivalent.
