Textbook chapters 4-6. Includes a further introduction into the present tense, the future, passé composé, and prepositions. Classes are conducted entirely in French and focus on all aspects of students' everyday life. Reading and writing exercises are added to complement in-class discussions.

Instructor: Lisa Porfirio

Lisa Porfirio

Lisa Michelle Porfirio teaches French for Communication and has taught at a variety of locations in the United States and France. She holds a MA in French Language and Literature from Portland State University as well as having studied French at McGill University in Montréal. She is also a French-trained pastry chef and has lived and worked in both Québec and France extensively. She infuses her intimate knowledge of both cultures in her teaching and enjoys the great possibilities of cross-cultural learning through the medium of language.
