Institutional Effectiveness

The course provides a foundational survey of institutional effectiveness in higher education. The course material covers a collection of strategic frameworks used to foster a culture of evidence towards facilitating continual improvement. The purpose of the course is to strengthen the student’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and confidence to explore, analyze, and recommend institutional policies, practices, and structures to enhance student equity and achievement outcomes and overall institutional effectiveness.

The course focuses on the development and implementation of organizational and operational structures of Institutional Effectiveness departments. The course material covers a variety of management practices to strengthen the student’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and confidence to oversee and facilitate operational components of Institutional Effectiveness departments.

The course concentrates on the leadership development in Institutional Effectiveness. The course material encompasses an assortment of leadership exploration, strategies, and illustrations to strengthen the student’s knowledge, skills, abilities, and confidence to leads efforts from Institutional Effectiveness department-level to institution-wide.
