Naveed Shaik

Bio
Dr. Shaik has over 16 years of experience in clinical drug development in oncology, playing a pivotal role in the pharmaceutical industry and contributing to the development of more than 15 early- and late-stage clinical assets. His expertise lies in developing and executing comprehensive PK-PD strategies from early clinical development through late-stage program strategy, ensuring a seamless transition from proof-of-concept to regulatory submission.Throughout his career, Dr. Shaik has mentored students including summer interns, student assistants, and Pfizer-UCSD fellows. He has also been a guest lecturer at the Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2009, where he has led pharmacokinetics workshops and given drug development talks.
Dr. Shaik is committed to improving the field of clinical pharmacology. His many publications demonstrate his breadth of experience in patient and clinical pharmacology studies.
