Eileen earned a BA in English from California State University, Fullerton, and an MA in English from California State University, Long Beach, where she also completed the TMAC (Teaching Master of Arts in Composition) program. Additionally, she is a graduate of the Copyediting Certificate Program at UC San Diego Extended Studies. With over twenty years of experience as a medical and general editor, she now enjoys helping others learn about grammar, writing, and editing and sharing her passion for language with her students. She is a member of ACES: The Society for Editing and the National Council of Teachers of English (NCTE), and she teaches Grammar Lab in the Copyediting Certificate Program.
