Brad Bridge
Bio
Brad Bridge has worked in the computer industry for most of his adult life. He specializes in the areas of hardware and software support, and is a trainer in both industry and at the college level as an adjunct professor of computer science and computer technology. Toward the end of his working career, Bridge spent several years with Teradata Corporation, a leader in the field of very large, high performance, data warehousing, business intelligence systems, in their Rancho Bernardo and El Segundo California facilities, fine tuning his skills in relational database design, SQL language programming and relational database systems support.
Bridge believes a good foundation in the fundamental concepts of computers is the key to understanding the bigger picture that information technology represents and provides students with the ability to add to their computer skills on their own as they progress through their chosen field or endeavor.
Bridge holds a bachelor's degree in electronic engineering and business marketing from Northeastern University in Boston, Massachusetts, and a master’s degree in software engineering from National University in San Diego, California.
In addition, he holds vendor specific certifications from Microsoft, Oracle and Teradata technologies.
