Scott Ferry teaches Grammar Lab for UC San Diego Extended Studies’ Copyediting Certificate Program and has taught ESL classes for UC San Diego’s English Language Institute. He has been helping high school and university students to reach their goals for over 20 years in his roles as a tutor, instructor, instructional designer, and academic coordinator. Scott works to connect with his students to help them make progress at the edge of their abilities. Originally from New York, he has lived and taught in five countries. Scott holds an MA in TESOL from the Middlebury Institute for International Studies and a BA in Social Philosophy from Marquette University.
