Mia Wade


Mia A. Wade, MSN, RN, CCM
Mia Wade has been a nurse for 29 years.  She has served in a variety of roles and settings within the field of case management over the last 27 years.  Her experience and expertise include both the payor side of case management and hospital-based case management. She has served as a case manager, manager, and director at one of the largest Health Maintenance Organizations (HMO) in Ohio. She held a management position within a Workers Comp Case Management company.  Mia is currently a Utilization Management Nurse/Case Manager for the Surgical Intensive Care Unit (SICU) and for surgical patients in the Progressive Care Unit (PCU) at the Louis Stokes Cleveland VA Medical Center.  She has served in this position for 12 years.  Her case management knowledge and expertise are backed by her 22 years as a Certified Case Manager (CCM).  She is a member of the Case Management Society of America (CMSA) and a member of the American Case Management Association (ACMA). She received her BSN from Indiana Wesleyan University and her MSN from The University of Phoenix.
