Dr. Kristin Ziska-Strange is a dynamic instructional designer and educator dedicated to advancing innovative learning experiences. With a Ph.D. in Curriculum and Instruction from Northern Arizona University, where she focused on faculty identity and professional development, Kristin has cultivated a robust expertise in the intersection of pedagogy and technology. 

Serving as Core Faculty and a developer of the UCSD DES Instructional Design Professional Certificate Program, Kristin spearheads initiatives to enhance online learning in a practical, portfolio building educational program that meets evolving student needs.

As the Associate Director of Faculty Development and Instructional Design at Tufts University, she collaborates with faculty and academic leaders to design and implement learning programs. Her work has consistently emphasized the importance of research-based instructional standards and innovative practices. 

In addition to her professional achievements, Kristin is an active contributor to the broader educational community. She presents regularly at national conferences on topics like game-based learning and emotional engagement in education. Her commitment to fostering inclusive and effective learning spaces is evident in her leadership roles, including her involvement with NERCOMP and the Online Learning Consortium. 

Through her multifaceted work, Dr. Ziska-Strange continues to drive meaningful change in instructional design, making significant contributions to the field of education.
