James Messina is a doctoral candidate in UC San Diego's philosophy department. He has experience teaching undergraduate philosophy courses at the intersection of ethics, metaphysics and epistemology. His interests include moral philosophy and the history of modern philosophy and he has served as a research assistant for the University of New Orleans.
