The Art and Science of Painting Conservation

Speaker Alexis Miller, M.S.
Coordinator Steve Clarey
This lecture describes the processes employed by
painting conservators at the Balboa Art Conservation
Center to investigate materials used by artists and
how those methods can reveal and determine what
is original to the artwork and thereby add to the body
of knowledge of the painting and the artist.
