Los Angeles’ Wild Fires: Lessons for San Diego?

Speaker Captain Mike Cornette, CAL FIRE
Coordinator Dick Dahlberg
The fires in Los Angeles were an example of 100-year events occurring every…. five years?  What did San Diego learn about wild fires that will help prevent such a catastrophe occurring here?  The traffic gridlock that occurred recently as a result of the “Gilman” fire is not completely reassuring.  This lecture will review fire preparedness in San Diego.
