Instructor: Mary Negrete, M.A. TESOL, B.A.
Has over 20 years of experience teaching ESL, basic composition, and grammar at the community college and university level.
Mary Negrete teaches Spanish to English Translation I, Theory & Practice of Translation, Sight Translation, and Business Translation for the Translation & Interpretation certificate program. She works as a freelance translator from Spanish to English. Negrete has been teaching in the UC San Diego Extension Translation and Interpretation Certificate programs since 2001. She is an academic coordinator for these programs.
