Spanish Conversations: Literatura y Fotografía

It is enough to walk through the center of a city or turn on a computer to realize the ubiquity that the image - especially the photographic image - has reached in most contemporary societies. Millions of snapshots are taken around the world every minute with mobile phones or digital cameras. We have never photographed each other so much. This introductory course to notions of Photography and Literature explores history of photography and its connection with literature. The image is always present as space art an in combination with text impacts the reader/audience and how we, as spectators of reality, connect with image and readings in diverse ways.
