Elementary School: Sense Detectives: Exploring the Five Senses

Students will be learning all about their senses through hands-on exploration with real world connections. This course is important because students will be able to use scientific vocabulary and they will have made real world connections to each sense. This course is intended for students in kindergarten through second grade. The main goal of this course is for students to be able to name and describe all five senses.
 

How to Enroll Your Child

To register your child for this course, a parent or guardian must first create an account and complete the registration on the student’s behalf (please note: the parent/guardian will enroll themselves in the course to represent the student).

  1. Click “Add to Cart” to select the course.
  2. Proceed to checkout to complete the registration process.
  3. After registering, be sure to fill out and submit the Authorization Form to finalize enrollment.

Potty Training Requirement
Please note that all students entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade must be fully potty trained prior to the start of the program. 

What you'll learn

By the end of the course, students will:

  • Students will be able to explain their senses using descriptive language. They will be able to explain the importance of each sense and what body part it is tied to.
