Elementary School: Ocean Animals that Play, Hide, and Seek

Investigate animals that play, hide, and seek in the Ocean! Learn about the Ocean food web and the roles of predator versus prey. Find out the differences between invertebrates and invertebrates.

To register your child for this course, a parent or guardian must first create an account and complete the registration on the student’s behalf (please note: the parent/guardian will enroll themselves in the course to represent the student).

Potty Training Requirement
Please note that all students entering Kindergarten through 2nd grade must be fully potty trained prior to the start of the program.

Lorrie Blackard Friet is an educator specializing in STEAM content creation. She has developed programs for San Diego Unified and Los Angeles Unified school districts as well as the San Public Library NeXT program. Lorrie is a practicing artist featured at Tower 23 Hotel in San Diego 92109. Her paintings are in collections worldwide. Passionate about the Ocean, Lorrie is the senior instructor at the San Diego Floating Lab. This program explores the wonders of the Ocean with San Diego County students and visitors from Arizona, Colorado and Mexico.
