The Employer Sponsored Induction Individualized Learning Plan (ILP) provides candidates admitted to the Induction program with an overview of the entire program, including its scope, goals, expectations, requirements, standards, and competencies.Through self-assessment, reflection and mentor observation, candidates will develop an Individualized Learning Plan aligned to the California Standards for the Teaching Profession (CSTPs) that will guide their Induction experience and help them formulate specific goals based on their individual teaching assignments, interests and needs, that will be addressed throughout their participation in the Induction Program.

Notes: The employer only pays for the delivery of the Induction content to Induction candidates they sponsor through the program. Inservice credit is available to be purchased separately by the Induction candidate for the equivalent course credit within the predetermined time frame based upon the end date of the section participated in. Participants must be admitted to the Induction program prior to enrolling in this course. This is the first required course for all Induction Candidates and a prerequisite for all courses in the Induction program.

She holds a Clear Multiple Subject Teaching Credential, a Reading Certificate and an Administrative Services Credential.

Dr. McDuffie is a independent education consultant. She has held numerous administrative and teaching positions over the past 25 years which include; Head of School, Academic Dean, Elementary School Principal, Curriculum Coordinator and Social Studies Teacher. Dr. McDuffie holds a Ph.D. in Language, Literacy and Learning from Fordham University in New York and a M.A. in History from Lehman College of the City University of NY.
