E-Discovery Applications and Practices introduces legal professionals to the workflows and best practices adopted by the E-Discovery industry that comply with federal and state statute and case law.  This course presents each stage of the Electronic Discovery Reference Model (EDRM) and case scenarios will be analyzed to see what methods and procedures work and do not work at each stage.  In addition, hands-on exercises and drills will be done in various software tools and utilities to assist students in learning the technical complexities of E-Discovery.  Finally, students will learn project management concepts to apply in E-Discovery matters to manage deadlines, calculate costs, and assess proportionality to a matter.
