Visual Design, UI, and Prototyping is designed to provide you with the essential skills needed to create visually engaging and user-centered interfaces. Starting with the fundamentals of visual design, you’ll learn best practices for layout, typography, and color theory, and how to present web designs that are both aesthetically pleasing and functional.

As you move through the course, you’ll explore responsive design frameworks, ensuring your interfaces adapt seamlessly across different devices, providing a consistent and intuitive user experience every time. With a mix of theory and hands-on practice, this course is perfect for those looking to deepen their understanding of UI design and create interfaces that make an impact.

Course Details

A key component of this course is prototyping, where students will get hands-on experience with Figma, one of the industry's most widely used design tools. You'll learn how to build interactive prototypes that bring your designs to life, allowing you to test and refine your ideas before they are developed. In addition, the course focuses on the importance of hierarchy and layout, teaching you how to structure your interfaces to guide users through a clear and efficient experience.

The ability to create intuitive, responsive designs and prototypes is essential for today’s digital designers, and this course provides the practical skills you need to succeed in the field.

Flexible Enrollment: This course is a requirement for the Digital Design and Creative Strategy Professional Certificate but is open to all students, even if you're not enrolled in the Certificate Program.
