Discovery Principles

LAW-40061

This course is designed to provide the paralegal with mastery of the fundamental tools and skills involved in discovery practice in both California and federal courts. You will explore the role of discovery in litigation, as well as understand the statutes governing discovery practice. In this course, you will be provided with a case study from which you will prepare for a deposition, as well as prepare for and respond to requests for admission, interrogatories, and requests for inspection of documents.

June Hunter
June Hunter is a Paralegal and an IT Support Services Specialist at CGS3. As a graduate of the ABA Approved Paralegal Certificate program at UC San Diego, June has worked in the legal field in various capacities for the last 28 years.  Her diverse computer knowledge and legal background as both a working paralegal and computer software trainer have resulted in her being sought out for her ability to provide clear, hands-on training to other legal professionals in how to effectively utilize the software prominently used in the legal field. 

June is currently on the Board for the San Diego Paralegal Association, volunteers as a Paralegal Mentor for the San Diego Paralegal Association and is an active member in Women in E-Discovery and the ESI Forum.
