Instructor: Simon Dang

Simon Dang
Simon Dang has spent nearly two decades shaping brands, building businesses, and helping entrepreneurs turn big ideas into reality. His journey started at Microsoft, where he led a search advertising team and mastered the art of digital marketing. After earning his MBA from Columbia Business School, he took his expertise to Weber Shandwick Asia, where he served as Senior Vice President, leading the Food & Beverage Practice. There, he worked with Fortune 500 giants like Unilever, McDonald’s, NestlĂ©, Nike, and Mercedes-Benz, helping American-based organizations make their mark on the global stage.

But Simon’s passion for business didn’t stop at big brands. He went on to cofound multiple ventures, including a successful bar and distillery, a digital agency and a multinational spirits brand. It was through these hands-on experiences that he found his true calling—helping founders of small and medium-sized businesses navigate the tough, early stages of growth. While many business consultants chase after the large corporations, Simon is drawn to the ones still fighting to get off the ground.

Simon believes the most satisfying work is being alongside entrepreneurs, helping them turn their vision into something tangible. Whether it’s overcoming early business hurdles, building a strong brand, or crafting a marketing strategy that actually moves the needle.
