PATH-40009
The study of new and upcoming technologies such as immunogenetics, Flow Cytometry and/or Molecular Diagnostics.
Study and learn laboratory techniques in new technologies such as:
- Immunogenetics – the branch of immunology that deals with the molecular and genetic bases of the immune responses and specialized human leukocyte antigen testing, often focusing on the needs of transplant patients.
- Flow Cytometry - a laser-based, biophysical technology employed in cell counting, cell sorting, and biomarker detection. Cells are suspended in a stream of fluid and passed through an electronic detection apparatus allowing for simultaneous multiparametric analysis of the physical and chemical characteristics of cells.
- Molecular Diagnostics - the use of various molecular approaches, phases and techniques in patient diagnosis, treatment and monitoring of patient disorders.
